 MEANING: The name of a computer program
 CONTEXT: NONMEM support utility routine

 DISCUSSION:
 SEP is a program which is supplied on the NONMEM distribution medium.

 SEP separates large FORTRAN source files from the distribution  medium
 into  individual  files,  each containing one routine or group of rou-
 tines.  The individual files are easier to compile and edit.

 SEP also strips trailing blanks from each line of source  code,  which
 reduces  the  disk  space  occupied  by the individual source files on
 operating systems such as VMS.
