 USAGE:

 DISCUSSION:
 The SS6 subroutine computes steady-state kinetics in  a  very  general
 way  and may be used with any choice of ADVAN (other than ADVAN9, with
 which only SS9 can be used).  SS6 is  the  only  steady-state  routine
 that  can  be  used  with  ADVAN6,  ADVAN8  and ADVAN10. However, when
 ADVAN6, ADVAN8, or ADVAN10 is not used, there is in general no partic-
 ular advantage in using SS6 rather than the analytic steady-state rou-
 tine (e.g., SS1, SS2, etc.)

 When SS6 is used, a DES subroutine (or  $DES  block)  is  required  to
 evaluate  differential  equations.   When  SS6  is used with any ADVAN
 other than ADVAN6 or ADVAN8, DES is used only when there  are  steady-
 state infusions.

 TOL is required; (See $subroutines).
